Self Assessment

Personal tax, filed on time.

Self Assessment for 2025–26 is due 31 January 2027 online. We prepare the return, use the allowances that apply, and show you how the bill was built.

Who we file for

Sole traders, landlords, company directors with extra income, contractors, and anyone HMRC has asked to register. If you have foreign income or a property sale, say so on the first call — that changes the work.

What you receive

  • A checklist of records, early enough to be useful.
  • The return, filed with HMRC.
  • A one-page breakdown of profit, tax, payments on account and what to pay by 31 January and 31 July.

Read the dates in our deadline guide and the tax calendar.

Questions

I am in Making Tax Digital. Do I still need Self Assessment?

For 2025–26, yes — a traditional return by 31 January 2027. From 2026–27, people in MTD for Income Tax submit a digital final declaration instead. We will tell you which side you are on.
